Determination & Stubborness
The best comforter
2 Corinthians 7.6 :" but God, Who comforts and encourages and refreshes and cheers the depressed and the sinking, comforted and encouraged and refreshed and cheered us (..)"
This verse indicates each One of us that we can feel depressed, stressed out, anxious, overwhelmed, but that there will always be One Person to welcome us as you are. Even if the society takes you In an individual world, don't Forget that you are not alone, and always considered important for God. ❤️
A light in this world
Waking up early and feel the fresh air coming on my face, here is a reason for me to start the day with gladness and simplicity without worries crushing me Down. To Be a light in this world doesn't mean to Be the best, the most clever or efficient, but it means shining where you are in every circumstance. Attitude is also important. Some days, everything seems to Be ok and you can easily remember about this sentence: "Be a light", but there are some days you feel weak. That's normal to have ups and downs because we are made with qualities and also dark sides and our body/soul/mind can Be polluted with many things that surround us. The decision I want to make today is to shine where I am with the people I am and with WhO I am, strengths&failures altogether. 😊😎💛
Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa lived 87 years and was involved with people who suffered from poverty. She is a symbol of selfless work and can be a good reference for us in our daily life. She believed in God and spent time to place Him at the centre of her works, when she wrote : “Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you do it to me.” This sentence reflects the envy to follow a path filled with love and compassion for others. She wanted to be a light around her and even if she didn't behave like the others, she had something inside of her calling to do the good and not bad stuff. She went to Calcutta and familiarised herself with poverty, famine and she saw probably things which were terrible. Her famous other sentence : “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love" can be applied for us. Sometimes, we want to show off our talents and what we can do forgetting that small things and attention forms are important for those who surround us. At the end of her life, she decided to continue figthing for the poor and the needy even though she was suffering in her body, her aim didn't fall on the floor.
I have to say that her determination to help and give love around her inspires me, and her way of being different from the others too.
Be encouraged ! :-)
Resilience
James 5.11 : "Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy."
This verse speaks about endurance and the action of God through our circumstances. Job was attacked by the loss of people around him and failure in his entreprises, but at the end, by persevering and coming to the Lord, his story has completely changed and he received more than what he lost. His attitude and devotion bore good fruits, at the end.
The most wise decision can appear as giving up or flee from our hardships when they are too heavy for us...and another way of acting is resilience which is described as an ability to absorbe a perturbation in order to function the same as before.
The Lord is merciful and even knows more about our pain, so let's be continually filled with his power, and he will be by our side to lift us up in our everyday moments !

2 Corinthians 12.9
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
When Paul is writing this, he remembers about his sufferings and when he cried for the Lord to help him. He felt weak and he couldn't afford the circumstances with his own ability. He probably searched for more than hi strength, a bigger dimension. Sometimes, even if we think we are strong enough to face a challenge, we need the help of someone who understands us. It can be a friend, a member of a group, family, elders, but also God ! When we take control and imagine we are the only ones to resolve the problem we face, we don't let God come and we want to control what surrounds us. A minimal contral is important and essential to live confidently and secured, and humility is also rewarding. While feeling destitute or overtaken by events, we have the right to admit our weakness to God who knows better than us the key which is needed in every circumstance. He will always open his heart and his arms : FOR YOU AND ME :)
